Professional CRASH Analysis

 NJ Crash Review is a consultation firm that will review and dissect a New Jersey Crash Report (NJTR-1) and advise the attorney of any errors, inconsistencies, or improper findings of fault within the report involving the client. With over 140 fields of data entry in the NJTR-1, many are coded and not revealed in plain text. 


  • Analyze Motor Vehicle Crash Reports (NJTR-1).

October 2013 – September 2020

Corporal, Traffic Safety   Unit - Franklin Township Police Department

  • Assisted Traffic Sergeant with daily operations   of the Traffic Safety Unit
  • Lead investigator for a variety of motor   vehicle related investigations including fatal motor vehicle crashes, basic   crashes, accident reconstruction, traffic law enforcement, work zone safety,   abandoned vehicles, insurance fraud, hit and run crashes, crash trends   analysis, and wrecker & mobile food vendor inspections.
  • Primary crash report reviewer and analyzed the   majority of up to 3,000 crash reports annually submitted by the patrol   division.
  • Analyze crash data to determine possible   trends and crash types at specific locations.
  • Planned and oversaw public events within the   township.
  • Met with contractors to plan for work zone   safety during construction.
  • Advised the public as a Certified Child   Passenger Safety Technician.
  • Appeared in municipal, county and district   courts to offer credible testimony relative to the investigations and charges   of individuals with criminal and non-criminal offenses
  • Instructed and mentored new officers on crash   investigations and proper documentation of crash reports.

January 2001 – September 2013

Police   Officer, Traffic Safety Unit - Franklin Township Police Department

  • Led department in Traffic Law Enforcement from   2001 through 2013 
  • Investigated all levels of motor vehicle   crashes, including serious and fatal crashes that included cases with   criminal components.
  • Enforcement of traffic laws, served as police   radar instructor, child seat inspector, inspection of vehicles for township   business licenses (tow truck, mobile food vendors, taxi), background checks   of driver/owners for said licenses.
  • Investigated cases involving fraudulent motor   vehicle documents, abandoned vehicles, and assisted in coordinating the   township’s school crossing guard program.
  • Gathered preliminary investigation information   as a first responder to scenes and participated in multi-jurisdictional   intelligence gathering and suppression operations.
  • Coordinated with outside law enforcement   jurisdictions and agencies necessary for the continuing investigation of   cases, suspects, etc.

December 1994 – December 2000
